The playing fields are a charitable organisation that provides recreational opportunities for the residents of Stoney Stanton
The facilities are owned and maintained by the Stoney Stanton War Memorial Playing Fields Association, a trust set up to run he playing fields on behalf of the village.
The Association committee contains volunteers from the community, giving their time and effort to support the facilities.
Funding for the maintenance and development of the site has to be secured solely by the association. This is a charity asset so can not be directly state funded. We therefore rely on the support of the community to remain sustainable.

Our last Annual General Meeting was held on 3rd May 2023. The next Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 1st May 2024 at 7.30pm in the meeting room of the pavilion at the playing fields.
General management meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm in the meeting room in the pavilion at the playing fields. All are welcome to attend. Please email [email protected] to confirm that a meeting will be held.
